Experiencing diversity through culture

“Our company needs to highlight the value of diversity.”
This was the starting point of the brief.
Across cultures, multiplicity is a resource to be explored and valued. From this belief, a bespoke experiential programme was designed for a selected group of managers, inviting them to actively experience diversity, adaptability and new forms of collaboration between people.

The kitchen as a space where differences meet

After in-depth research, the experience focused on Ethiopia—a country with profound cultural roots and home to 85 different ethnic groups. The objective was to create an event combining music, food, performance and direct interaction with representatives of the chosen culture. Culinary art became one of the experiential languages: the kitchen as a space where differences meet, blend and transform into something meaningful. Guided by an Ethiopian chef, participants discovered and prepared traditional dishes, exploring colours, aromas and gestures as metaphors for working together while preserving individual identity. The experience was enriched by the traditional Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony—an essential part of social and cultural life and a symbol of respect and friendship—followed by live percussion and dance performances. A multisensory journey that generated energy, connection and shared understanding, turning diversity into a lived and memorable value.
